This is a VR only Cockpit livery.

Install:
Put the folder and its content in your DCS Saved Games like this: \Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\Winwing Mixed Reaility

If you own the Winwing F-18 MFDs and UFCs, or have a selfmade cockpit with these elements this might be the mod for you.

Known issues:
- If you turn on the Inst PNL Dimmer, the MFD and UFC will turn bright green. At night you have to use the flashlight.
- If canopy reflections are turned on, your canopy will be partially pink.
- Sun reflections will cause pink reflections on the MFDs and sunshades.

At some point I will work on a version where the MFD displays are also pink, so you can choose if you want to use your own or the ingame ones.

Zusammenfassung:
A cockpit livery for mixed reality, if you own the Winwing MFD/UFC.

Install it like every other cockpit livery. That means: copy the folder in your DCS Saved Games, ...\Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\Winwing Mixed Reaility, and select it ingame in the special menu for the F/A-18.

Erklärung:
Since I own the Quest 3 and the Winwing MFD/UFC setup, I dream of a mixed reality cockpit. Muscle memory is nice, but see your hands and the controls is way better!

There are already some solutions, like VR Kneeboard, but all of them require additional software and are a pain to set up, especially if the mixed reality part is not a simple box.

I thought, that maybe the best solution would be to simply paint the cockpit in pink, so the mixed reality works from ingame with only the elements I own. The Quest 3, together with Virtual Desktop allows a straightforward simple mixed reality setup, where everything in a certain color will not be rendered in VR and replaced by the Quest 3 cameras. Pink is chosen by most people, and I also chose it in DCS. The reason is simple: pink is not a natural color, and neither the sky, nor tanks, or anything else is pink and can interfere with this.

After some experiments I came up with this. It sort of works and has its own drawbacks, compared to other solutions. Most are caused by the DCS enginge, that puts lightning effects where I dont want them in this case.

I also painted the rudder pedals, the floor and the chair in pink, so I am able to see my legs and body. If you dont like that, get the original textures from this path: "...\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Textures", there is the FA-18C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip. Simply overwrite the textures you dont like with the original ones.

Known issues are:
1. If you turn on the Inst PNL dim lights, like at night, the MFD/UFCs will turn bright green. You either have to change your mixed reality seethrough color, or use the ingame flashlight.
2. Turn off canopy reflections, or your canopy will be partly pink. This will interfere with the mixed reality. Turn it off in the Special settings, and the system settings.
3. Reflections from the sun will sometimes bother with the MFD displays.
4. The displays are the ingame ones. You have to line up the ingame MFDs with your setup. I chose to not change the displays, so this livery will pass integrity check. To change the displays also to pink, changing core textures might be needed. Either way, I might do them one day and load them up here too.
5. Some levers and knobs on the side consoles will be pink too. Thats because they share the same texture.

I want to thank EagleEye1987 for helping me creating this livery by answering a lot of my stupid questions.
